Remarkably, the Joker has been pulled from the Jackpot deck of cards not once but twice so far this year. The first lucky winner was Craig Lunn who skilfully extracted the Joker at our first meeting of the year. The total in the jackpot pool was $160. Craig generously donated this amount to the Club coffers. The following week Mark Mexted repeated this feat with a new deck of cards. The winner’s share this time was only $11 – so Mark kindly requested that this be retained in the Jackpot pool. Thanks to both members for their generosity.
