President Stuart and Lot 47 Project leader Doreen Evans showing their delight at winning the L & L Wilson Rotary Club Collaborative award for the amazingly successful community house build at Lot 47. Their big smiles are not only for the award but for receiving "the jug" in place of the absent trophy smiley

A huge thank you to all our club members  and friends for making this day such a success.
Our team in the kitchen Debbie, Jo and Sue - were superstars smiley they effortlessly produced and presented a delicious 3 course lunch for the 100 guests at the hall.
Our BBQ champions cooked up a storm and all the delicious meats were eagerly devoured - thank you Craig, Grant and Richard.  Also thanks to ITM also for the big BBQ.
And to all the fabulous Rotarians who put their hands up to bake goodies and whip up a pots of pumpkin soup at very short notice.

Jennie Nicol's great idea for a club fundraiser was a huge success. Thanks to Euan on the day and Domain Road and Wild Earth Wines for their generous support. We raised just on $300 for our trust fund through wine sales with lunch.

My thanks also goes to Jean for her brilliant bookeeping and to Keith for his AV support and photos and to Neroli for being gofer and run about, for all the extra things that popped up during the morning.

Wonderful feedback has come in from Rotarians from all over district 9980. Every aspect was a credit to our club and so please take a moment to pat yourselves on the back for a job very well done.

And finally I would like to say what a pleasure it is to be involved in an event like this with a bunch of Rotarians from here, and all over our district, who say yes when asked, pitch in where they spot a need, and do it all with such good will. Thank you smiley

Sorry it wasn't a full conference for you Nick, but it was a good time anyway.
