At our February 23rd meeting, we were inspired by Rylee Watkins as she shared her "life-changing" experience at the January RYLA camp. Encouraged to attend RYLA by Doreen at Southern Peak Law, Rylee highlighted the value of practical, real-world experiences. She emphasised the focus on continuous improvement, citing her group's refreshment of the Lilliput Library that past candidates had worked on, with the goal of "leaving things better than you found them." Rylee also offered valuable insights on leadership, the importance of learning from mistakes, and how adapting leadership styles is key to working effectively with different generations. As the recipient of the Hannah Cup for resilience, Rylee reflected on the growth she gained by the uncomfortable moments.
