Jennie was privileged to present this year’s Mary and Lindsay McIntyre award. This is an annual reward established in their memories to commemorate the substantial contribution that that they had made to Rotary. The reward is presented annually to a member of our club who best exhibits the spirit of Rotary.
The award this year went to Neroli McRae, Neroli has been President, Secretary and (still is) Treasurer of our club, as well as being involved with numerous significant club projects. She also provides major IT support to members and to my knowledge has never said “No” to a request for help. Neroli really does exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service above Self” and it gave Jennie huge pleasure to present the award to her.
