CROMWELL ROTARY CLUB & RONALD McDONALD HOUSE SUPPER BALL AND AUCTION
 
On Saturday 19th October, Cromwell Rotary Club is delighted to be hosting a gala evening at The Gate Conference Centre to support the new Ronald McDonald House planned for Dunedin. We are thrilled to have sold all the tickets to the event due to the support given to us by local businesses and residents. We have a fabulous programme planned for the evening, with welcome drinks by Dicey Wines and Lion Nathan, emceed by Peter Williams, live music by Dene Allen, a guest speaker, an extensive bar and supper and nibbles from the team at The Gate served by members of Central and Southern Kids Education Trust.
 
To top it all off we have an amazing selection of items to be auctioned with local auctioneer Neil Bulling at the helm.
 
Including an extraordinary Wedding Celebration Starter Package donated collectively by Hannah Lind Celebrant, Andy Brown Photography, The Kitchen Garden, Makeup and Hair by Charlie, and Skylark Floral Stylist.
 
We are very grateful to Christine Waters the widow of late well-known artist Alan Walters who has donated a delightful painting of Alan’s.
 
The private winery at Northburn Station has teamed up with Cromwell Classic Car Wine Tours to offer a bespoke vineyard/winery/tasting and dinner experience for 4 people.
 
Heliworks Queenstown and The Rees Hotel have banded together to create a fabulous treat yourself package of a Remarkables scenic flight and a beautiful Lakefront Room at the Hotel with breakfast, dinner and wine included.
 
Grab yourself a chance for 4 friends to head out and about exploring the local trails on an e-bike for a day courtesy of Trail Journeys.
 
Indulge in a Cardrona Distillery tour for two people including barrel tasting and filling your own bottle of whisky. Or bid on a bottle of Source Gin or Reid Vodka.
 
Local sculptor Murray Sheppard has contributed one of his fine walnut sculptures for this cause close to his heart.
 
Thank you to Real NZ for their donation of a family visit to the Te Anau Glowworm Caves and overnight accommodation in Te Anau.
 
Local hospitality businesses have also generously given their support; Pinot Junction, with a pack of wines and a café voucher and Domain Road with a premium wine pack.
 
Other businesses have supported us in a variety of ways too. Breens with a signed Highlanders Jersey and builders laser measure and Fulton Hogan with a voucher to Paulinas.
 
Now that we have you thinking – why didn’t I get a ticket? There is still an opportunity for you to be part of the fun on the evening committee members will be happy to do phone bidding for people who missed out on coming to the event but would love to support the cause. For those attending on the night there will also be lucky seat draws and a raffle draw with number of generous hampers as prizes. All our raffle hamper items have been kindly donated by local businesses and all proceeds of the auctions and raffle will be donated to Ronald McDonald House.
