Hi all

Well we are now over 1/2 way through the 4 week lock down - how are you going?

I never anticipated we would get to this stage with only one death in New Zealand! We still have a long way to go but if we all stick to the plan may we get through this with as little long term effect on our (& our economies) health and wellbeing as possible!

I have had time to reflect on things I am grateful for as I get out for my daily walk. I always love Autumn and we have been blessed with some glorious days lately. Lovely to see our community out & about sharing the space, a smile and a friendly conversation on the way past.

While all of our planned projects are cancelled or on hold Volunteering Central are asking for volunteers to help (getting groceries etc) See the link below to register. If you are over 70 or immuno-compromised in any way but still want to help, they have phone support roles as well.
Volunteering Central website is:  https://volunteeringcentral.org.nz/
Direct Link to application form:  https://volunteeringcentral.org.nz/cosignup/

Don't forget to let me know if you are needing help in any way - that is what (Rotary) family are for!

Take care & remember smiles are contagious too
