More than 10 homes and gardens in the Cromwell - Pisa - Bannockburn region are set to go on display on the 1st of November 2025 for the fifth Rotary House and Garden tour.
The majority of the money from ticket sales this year will be used towards the establishment of a Splash Pad at the Alpha Street Reserve in Cromwell.
The splash pad is an area fitted with a non-slip surface and various nozzles & features that can shower, spray, rain, mist & shoot streams of water. Sometimes called a zero-depth pool the play space can include a shower down, water arch, splash buckets, water helix and rocket streams all designed for a safe, inclusive watery fun. The water from the play area will be recycled making it sustainable and such an asset to local families and holiday makers.
A wonderful group of sponsors have agreed again this year to cover all the project's organisational costs such as advertising, printing and ticket distribution. So, in purchasing a ticket you are in effect making a significant donation to the development of the recreational facilities Cromwell has to offer and getting to have a very enjoyable day in and around Cromwell.
PLEASE NOTE: Because of the nature of the terrain at some of the houses, there is no wheelchair access, nor are the visits in general, toddler or young child friendly.
Cost is $60 per person.
General Tour Information:
Detailed information on the houses and starting points will be emailed out to ticket holders a few days prior to the tour.
On the day, please present your photo ID and an electronic copy (for example on a mobile device or tablet) or printed copy of your ticket at your designated starting house to begin your tour. The name on your ticket must match the ID shown for entry.
Upon registration at your first home. Please move numerically around the homes on the map provided (House one goes to house two and so on. If you start at house 12, your next house will be house one). You will receive an identity wristband. Please wear the wristband at all times – it is your entry to all the homes. You will also receive your official House and Garden Tour brochure.
Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes. You will need to remove them and carry them with you as many of the homes have different entry and exit points. It is helpful to bring a tote bag to carry your shoes in.
NO handbags please. These amazing homes are filled with interesting items that can easily be knocked over if you are carrying extra bags. Shoe bags may be inspected when leaving each home.
Each house will be open from 10am to 4pm. The last entry to the houses is at 3.30pm. Park on the street, not down driveways unless directed by volunteers on the day.
Allow plenty of time. Children and babies are not permitted. We regret there is no wheelchair access. Public restrooms will be shown on the tour map, please use these restrooms and respect the homeowners’ hospitality.
You are visiting private homes and we ask that you please refrain from eating, drinking, and smoking. TAKING PHOTOS OR VIDEOS ON OR IN THE PROPERTIES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
No food and beverages will be available at the houses. Do not enter cordoned-off or private areas, open cupboards, touch homeowners’ belongings or sit on furniture.
Our volunteers have generously given up their time to help out on the day. We ask that you adhere to their guidance. 100% of the proceeds will be used for local charitable purposes.
